At Kenedy Space Center in Arizona, a team tested out the model of a low-maintainance greenhouse intended to grow fresh produce for hungry astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
Tests at the center were very promising, with no major malfunctions and the successful growth of three kinds of lettuce. It is a Wee World Wonder, to be able to produce healthy edible food even in climates as extreme as Outer Space.
