We need to nurture  committed relationships as they are a Wee World Wonder. Believe it or not a mother in law will make you happy according to the science on happiness

People in our lives

It appears that our happiness is closely linked to what researchers call our "social capital" - the sum of all our connections and trust in other people, our personal family ties, our friends, and our acquaintances. People close to us are a real Wee World Wonder. My wife cooked all the recipes in my cookbook 3 times even though she hates to cook. Now she loves cooking but it was her support that helped me keep putting the book together. The some of all our connections in the world a COME UNITY the community around us of those that care.

Bhutan a Wee World Wonder

In the remote Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, where government makes policy on the basis of Gross National Happiness, most street advertising is banned - particularly when aimed at children. Now this is a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat Wee World Wonder! In writing the book What a Wonderful World Cookbook we highlighted the wonder of sooooo many cultures. The world is full of wonder!

How nice is $$$$$$

A fascinating Wee World Wonder is that $ does not make you happy. The research suggests that richer countries do tend to be happier than poor ones, but once you have a home, food and clothes, then extra money does not seem to make people much happier. We need $25000 a year to be happy according to the research.
Being the author of a Cookbook has not made me wealthy the wealth is knowing how awesome the book is. People have said it has changed their lives. This is richness.

You are being framed every day

The framework of who we are and how we can be happy is very simple. We all need to have…Fun in our lives…Relationships that are life giving…Appearance and health that we feel good about…Messes that we are working on…& Economics that sustains us. Knowing that we need to keep the framework of our life in order and work on the parts that are not looking so good can keep us cheerful and at ease. The truth of this basic realization is a Wee World Wonder.

There are two sides of the frame .

We all want to present a striking side of ourselves to those we encounter each day. It’s like we need to be a perfect portrait every day. Yet if you think about it there are two sides of the frame. One is the picture the other is the wire and the card board hanging on a hook. This side is not as pretty but we all have it. It is painful to see the side of the frame that is hung pounded with a nail to a wall. The realization that we all have both sides to our frame is great relief from life’s grief. Realizing this reality is a real Wee World Wonder.
