Animal Engineers are a Wee World Wonder

Any way you look at it nature is incredible. No matter how many Wee World Wonders I hear about it, I never cease to get a feeling of mystified amazement, saying wow every single time. In fact many human engineers are taking lessons from the animal ones. Whether it's a beaver dam that creates new wetlands, spider silk strong enough to make bullet proof vests or termite mounds that are changing the very construction of our buildings; the unique talents of our animal friends just may be one of the keys to a more sustainable existence.
