The Wee World Wonder of a Life Not Lived in Vain

In 2008 former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam "Dj Am" Goldstein were critically injured in a plane crash, the other four passengers were killed. Looking back Dj Am said he wasn't sure why he lived and they died, but that it must mean he should do something important with his time. This may have been part of what led him to host the MTV reality show "Gone too Far" in which he helps eight young drug addicts and their families face addiction, after having gotten sober himself.
In 2009 the disease of addiction claimed the life of Adam Goldstein. The series aired anyway, showing off a man with a genuine personality and willingness to help others. The most inspiring part of the whole show is clips filmed after his passing. He truly saved many of those former addicts and all of them were touched by the Wee World Wonder of a life not lived in vain.
