The Groundhog Day Storm was a Wee World Wonder

Reports began to trickle in slowly on Monday, a Wee World Wonder was on its way. It would hit full force on Tuesday night and the storm was pretty much set to be a big one. As the time of the proclaimed monster closed in, word spread, and preparations got under way amidst whispers of a snow day and light hearted laughter over nicknames such as "Oh Snow you Didn't" and the "Snowpocolypse."
Many stayed up past midnight to see the monster come in. Come in it did indeed, almost as fast as the Facebook updates about its arrival. Spreading rapidly across the radar, bringing with it four centimetres an hour, a fierce wind and an air of excitement that was nearly electric.
