Failure doesn't feel like success, and rejection will never sound sweet. Life lessons are less than perfect and you'll always be frustrated when you can't get it right the first time. You'll cuss and cry thinking the problem must be about you and have something to do with being not enough. It will hurt, and that knot in your stomach will feel like it's tugging you down. You will think longingly about your can-do feelings, and notice that you don't like the opposite at all, that you aren't proud to announce what you can't do.
Then you will stop and realize something; like coal is squeezed into flawless diamonds, even though it feels like a tight fit, you are being made into a Wee World Wonder.
